The clocks are about to change, the evenings are pulling in, and the whole natural world is doing something we rarely allow ourselves to do: slowing down on purpose.
Trees let go of their leaves without apology. Fields rest after giving everything they had. Even the light goes softer and lower, like someone has turned a dimmer switch on the day.
Autumn is a season of harvest, and I'd love you to consider that you're allowed a harvest too. Not of doing, achieving or ticking things off, but of rest. This month, I'm inviting you to gather it in: the warm mug in both hands, the early night, the blanket you've been meaning to unfold, the deep exhale at the end of a long day.
Rest isn't what's left over when everything else is finished. It's the thing that makes the rest of life possible. So let's treat it like the good stuff it is.
Here's what's on the table this month...
🕯️ Cosy Club is back: Season Five
Tuesday 20 October, 7.30pm, 90 minutes
If you've missed your weekly class since I left Nuffield, this is your moment.
Cosy Club is my Yoga Nidra event, and it's a little bit extra. Picture a studio glowing with fairy lights, a room full of women who are all there for the same beautiful reason: to be looked after for an evening.
You'll choose your herbal tea blend when you arrive, then settle in with your usual blanket and pillow. I'll bring the eye masks and the immersive experience, and you'll have 90 minutes of pure relaxation.
Afterwards, as you come round, your tea is waiting. Sip it slowly. If you'd like to share what came up for you, the space is there. And if you'd rather drink up and drift home, soft and sleepy, that's absolutely perfect too.
Come as you are. Pyjamas are welcome. So are hoodies, big socks and every warm layer you own.
Cosy Club always sells out, and this season is moving fast: a quarter of the places went yesterday, after some eagle-eyed ladies spotted it on my website. Consider this email your nudge.

🌙 New course: Sleep Well
I'm so proud of this one, and I can't wait for you to try it.
Sleep Well is my third course on Glow Within Method: seven days, seven nights, and two audios each day.
☀️ By day, a meditation to change the way you meet your thoughts, emotions and energy.
🌙 By night, a Yoga Nidra to give your body and mind permission to slow down, soften and rest.
Together they become a simple daily rhythm: reset in the day, release at night. You're not putting on a sleep meditation and hoping for the best. You're building a whole new relationship with rest, one that runs through your day and not just the last five minutes before lights out.
And because it's me, here's what Sleep Well is not: there are no exams, no certificate and no homework. It's designed to relieve stress, not add to it. Once you've bought it, it's yours to keep. Repeat the full seven days whenever life gets noisy, or just return to your favourite practice again and again.
It joins my two founding courses: the 4-Week Energy Reset (yoga classes included) and the 6-week guided meditation journey Return to Calm.

☀️ Sunday mornings, 10am
If Cosy Club is where you come to be energetically held, Sunday mornings are where you build the strength, stability and flexibility to hold yourself. My weekly hatha class is at 10am in Normanton, and it's a community as much as a class. It's also the only public yoga class I teach. If you loved my classes and have been wondering where to find me, this is it.
We had our social after class last week, which we do every few months. Tea, coffee and cake are on me, and everyone lingers far longer than they planned to. That's the kind of group it is.
October is open for booking. Regulars, book in the usual way. If you're curious, there's a link below about the class, and I have a couple of spaces for newcomers. Come and join us.

Your turn: what's your harvest?
I'd love to hear from you. Just hit reply and tell me:
What's one small thing you're going to gather for yourself this month?
An earlier night? A bath with the door shut? Ten minutes of quiet before anyone else is up? Big or tiny, I read every reply, and I'll be doing my own pledge too (mine's in the Glow Note below).
Until next time, may your October be soft, slow and full of rest.
Nadine 🍂
P.S. Your reply really does help. It tells your inbox that my emails are ones you want to see.

✨ Glow Note: Put yourself on the list
Here's my harvest pledge for October: I'm treating my own care as non-negotiable.
I turned 52 last week, and I'm leaning right into my second half.
For most of my life, like so many of us, I put everyone else first. I knew how to look after myself. I just got to it after everything and everyone else. These days, my care has moved from "when I get a minute" to non-negotiable.
So this month, I'm getting my daily ritual right. A little morning gathering of everything that supports me: my vitamins and minerals, my magnesium, my omega 3, my collagen. And the one that's now truly non-negotiable: SPF 50+ on my face, neck, décolletage and the backs of my hands. Yes, even on grey, drizzly autumn mornings. It was always in my face cream, but I've upped my game, and I'm strict about it now.
It's a few quiet minutes each day, and every one of them says: I matter enough to take care of this.
That's what I'm learning about ageing. It isn't about fighting anything. It's about tending to yourself like something worth tending, the way you'd tend a garden you want to see bloom for years to come.
Your glow note this month: choose one small daily act of care and make it non-negotiable. It doesn't have to be a supplement shelf or a skincare routine. It could be a glass of water first thing, or ten minutes outside, or an earlier night.
(Everyone's body is different, so do what's right for yours, and chat to your GP or pharmacist before starting anything new.)
Now go glow! 💕
